Teacher Information
Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our Services, including:
- Account Information: First name, email address, and school name. Providing your last name is optional.
- Content: Any materials submitted through the Service, including assignments, assessments, and interactions with our AI tools.
- Customer Support Requests: Information shared when contacting our support team for assistance.
- Testimonials: If you provide a testimonial about your experience with StarQuiz, we may display it on our platform with your permission. To request removal, contact cem@starquiz.ai.
Information from Third Parties
If you choose to integrate third-party platforms like Google Login or Clever, we may receive basic information such as your name and email address to facilitate account setup and authentication.

Parental Review
Parents or guardians can review, request the deletion of, or restrict our use of their student’s information by contacting us at cem@starquiz.ai. Please include your name, the student’s email address, and the requested action. If the student uses StarQuiz through their school, please direct such requests to the school or district.
How We Use Your Personal Information
StarQuiz is committed to protecting user data. We do not rent, sell, or use teacher or student personal information for advertising purposes.

Your Choices
- Access, Update, or Delete: Users may access or update personal information via their account settings or by emailing cem@starquiz.ai. Schools and districts may request updates or deletions on behalf of students.

Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to support educational purposes. Upon account deactivation or request, we anonymize data for continued product improvement. Fully deleting all associated data is available upon request.
For schools and districts, deactivation or data deletion requests must be submitted by an authorized representative.

StarQuiz employs strict security measures, including:

- Regular audits and adherence to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. Transmitting sensitive information via unsecure channels is discouraged.

If you are located in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have GDPR rights, including access, rectification, and deletion of personal data.
